so today i went to my cousin's house to continue my psychology observation which involves drawing. i laughed so hard when I asked my cousin (a 5 n a half yr old) to draw her family, and she gave me a whole list of 11 people, starting with nannus and nannas and ending with the little 3 yr old! haha. then she wanted to draw a guitar, and when i told her how well she draws a guitar she looked at me and said "its not a guitar, its a tortoise!!!" haha... how adorable! then I asked her to draw ANYTHING she wanted to, and her reply was "I dont know how to draw!". so i asked her what she draws at school and she said, "At school we don't draw, we only do school work!!!" and she had a 'like DUUH' look on her face! Hanini!!! then, the classic, she had some homewor left to do, she had to read two pages from Tom and Kate, repeating each sentence 3 times. When she finished she looked at me, smiled, and said "there... I finished... and I didn't even get tired!!!" Hahahaha!!! After that she decided to draw a cockroach...She really made my day, the innocence, being excited at any little thing, loving mum dad aunts uncles and cousins with all her heart, mind, and strength, showing others how much she loves them by squeezing them so tight she leaves them breathless for a few seconds.... which reminded me of Matthew 18:3 in which Jesus says "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" . We must learn to love unconditionally, we must learn to be excited about God's plans for us, and we must show love and spread God's Love in such a way that we leave people breathless and thirsty for more! 2 comments
