for those of you who have watched the passion, each of us has those moments in the film where we close our eyes... and so I question myself, and I ask, if I was one of Jesus' disciples, would I love Him enough to remain by His side all through His passion? I've been thinking a lot about Mary... her, Mary Magdalene and John, are the ones who loved Him enough to bare the pain with Him. Not even on screen do I manage to watch all of His passion, let alone if i were physically there!!!

Often, when we're passing through tough times, we think about Jesus dying on the cross for us, and it gives us courage and confidence to get through... but sometimes its easier to compare our situations to more tangible people.. and the person who immediately comes to mind is Mary. She's the woman who suffered the most in the Bible... she always accepted God's Will in her life and she trusted Him without question... and I'm sure she had doubts and confusion in her heart when Jesus was hanging there on the cross! Its already bad enough seeing your own son beaten up and mocked, let alone killed for no reason at all! yet she hung on... and kept trusting God even during her darkest days...
