Challenge

Hello my fellow readers!

its been quite an exciting week full of ups and downs and new adventures and challenges. My new challenge is to take God so much more seriously than I've been doing lately. Suddenly I've got this thirst building up inside me to get to know Jesus so much more! I've been reading about this saint, st Therese of Lieux, and the passion and love she had for Christ is indescribable!!! She would spend time walking around the garden talking to Jesus as if He were her boyfriend/best friend. She'd cut flowers and give them to Him and talk to Him, joke with Him, love Him, share her feelings emotions and fears with Him. Everything!

This is what she says: "For me, prayer is an aspiration of the heart, it is a simple glance directed to heaven, it is a cry of gratitude and love in the midst of trial as well as joy; finally, it is something great, supernatural, which expands my soul and unites me to Jesus."

I'm learning a lot from the writings this saint left behind her, and each day that passes the thirst I have inside me grows more and more! I will leave u with a quotation from a film... sorry but i forgot what it was called...

"There is a connection between heaven and earth: finding it makes everything worthwhile, including death; missing it makes everything worthless, including life!"
